A cold, damp year with heavy attacks of mildew and then botrytis. With fairly low ripeness, the wines are marked by solid acidity.


Chevalier-Montrachet


Tasting notes N°415 - Octobre 1997 [Plaisir de la cave][Vertical] Grands bourgognes blancs Bernard Burtschy Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru 1977 Straw-gold with green highlights. The nose, light and airy, has a touch of hazelnut. The attack is structured, the palate slim and light-bodied, with lovely aromas on the finish. Though not really great, this wine appears to be eternally young.
